DOL-OWCP FAQ

– You are not required to take time off to receive medical and physical therapy treatment through OWCP. If medically necessary, you may take time off from work to heal. This time off will be paid.

– Call us at 601-524-8444 and speak with our Case Manager
– Our case manager will help you with all OWCP forms
– Set a medical appointment with a medical doctor to get your case accepted
– Set Physical therapy appointment with Doctor of Physical Therapy (even before claim is approved.)
– Receive Physical Therapy, Massage, Bracing, and other Medical Treatment 

– It depends on your situation. Please give us a call, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

– Yes, via a CA7, CA7A, or CA7B form.

– We serve clients both locally and from several hours away. Unlike many doctors, we specialize in understanding OWCP regulations and processes.

– We don’t wait for claims to get approved to start your treatment. At our facilities, we are confident to provide care from day one, knowing your claim will get accepted.

– To potentially qualify for a schedule award, you must have sustained a work-related injury to a limb (arm or leg). After completing physical therapy to reach your “maximum medical improvement,” you will need to acquire an impairment rating from a doctor. With this, you may qualify for a schedule award.
